EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Examination/Testing: A typing test and data entry test is
required of all new applicants. This is to determine their eligibility for
various positions requiring the proficiency of these skills. (Not all positions
available require typing and data entry skills). Background Check: Employment with the Clerk of Courts is subject to the selected candidate's passing a national background check conducted by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Drug Testing: Employment with the Clerk of Courts is subject to the selected candidate's passing a drug test by an independent testing facility contracted by the Clerk of the Courts. Required Education and Experience Information: This announcement contains a description of the experience and/or education required for the classification. Applicants are responsible for clearly explaining prior work experience and/or providing all information which supports the application AT THE TIME THE APPLICATION IS FILED. To be creditable, any required accredited college or university education must be verifiable from a reliable source within the United States or its territories or possessions, and information identifying that source must be submitted with the application. Nothing can be added to an application once the announcement period has closed. NOTE: Materials submitted with applications become the property of the Clerk of Courts and cannot be returned. Starting Pay: Starting salary is normally the minimum of the salary range. Identification Requirements: In accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, and the reporting requirements of the Internal Revenue Service and the Florida State Pension System, applicants must be prepared to present a valid governmentally issued Drivers License/Photo I.D. at the time of selction interview. Once employed all requirements of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 must be met. Special Accommodation and Communication Needs: The Clerk of

full time budgeted employees. The following is a benefit list of "Clerk Paid
Benefits" and "Clerk Sponsored Benefits". CLERK PAID BENEFITS: These are benefits fully paid for by the Office of The Clerk.
OTHER CLERK SPONSORED BENEFITS: These are benefits
available to full-time regular employees on a voluntary basis, which premiums
are deducted from the employee's paychecks.
