After pressing “Confirm Purchase” I got a message
that says my Credit/Debit Card was declined. I know my card is good, what is going on?
The Clerk of Courts Office uses a Verification Service to approve all Online
Credit/Debit Card Transactions. This Service uses the billing address for confirmation.
If the billing address you entered on the registration form does not match the address on
file with the Credit Card Issuer, the transaction is denied. If this happens, secure a recent copy
of the Credit Card Billing Statement and enter the address exactly as it appears on that statement.
