How do I pay a traffic fine online?

The Broward County Clerk of Courts On-Line Services and CourtHouse Information and Payment System (954)712-7899 are provided as a convenience to the public. Using these services in no way relieves the defendant from the responsibility of paying a traffic fine, or making an election in a timely manner. If the defendant finds that certain case information has not been entered, of if any of these systems are not functional, it is still the responsibility of the defendant to make payment or election to the Clerk of Courts office within thirty (30) days of receiving the citation.

The defendant may use the on-line traffic fine payment service to pay a traffic fine and, if they choose, elect the option to attend defensive driving school. If the defendant elects the option to attend defensive driving school, they are responsible for locating, registering and completing the driving school in which they choose to attend within ninety (90) days of electing the option.
