Because of the changes, Support Enforcement will no longer be accepting new cases. If you are a Broward County resident seeking to open a new child support case, you should contact the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR) Child Support Enforcement Program. Information on the services provided by DOR is available on the internet at http://dor.myflorida.com/dor/childsupport/ or by calling 1-800-622-KIDS (5437). Effective October 1, 2008, the Support Depository will be assumed by the Broward Clerk of the Court. Please note that (effective October 1, 2008) all child support or alimony payments to the Support Depository must be payable to the Clerk of the Court. Payments may continue to be mailed to PO Box 14248, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33302 or paid in person at 540 SE 3rd Avenue (1st Floor), Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. |
