Online Form Preparation Program

NEW! Prepare Forms Online for Dissolution of Marriage (Divorce), Evictions & Small Claims

Pro Se Litigant - a person who appears in court without the assistance of a lawyer.

The Broward County Self Service Web Application is a tool that gives users assistance in preparing court documents online if you are not able to have an attorney draft them for you. Documents can be prepared for Dissolution of Marriage (Divorce), evictions or small claims filing types.

The program is designed to be easy to use. You simply answer questions related to your filing type. At the end of the program, you will be required to pay a fee for the form creation and then you will be able to print out documents that look much like those an attorney would prepare for you. There are brief explanations about the law that relates to your documents and instructions on how to use the documents you prepare.

Not all documents required for all types of court cases can be prepared using this program. Please read the description of each filing type carefully to be sure it addresses your needs. Also, the program may not complete every form for you that you are required to file. Please take the time to review your forms and complete them as necessary. Failure to do so could affect the outcome of your case. For more information on required forms, please review the instruction sheet included with your forms.

Information on obtaining legal assistance can be gathered by calling the Lawyer Referral Service at (954) 764-8040 or by visiting the Law Library on the first floor in Room 1800 of the Broward County Courthouse at 201 Southeast 6th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301.
